About The Position

Designs, conducts, and interprets biological and microbiological experiments to support research and development programs. This role provides technical and scientific support for technology transfer, product development, and process optimization activities. The Scientist will review data and literature, prepare technical summaries, and provide recommendations for potential improvements and applications within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 2–4 years of laboratory experience in biological or microbiological testing within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated environment.
• Strong analytical and technical laboratory skills.
• Knowledge of microbiological and molecular biology techniques
• Familiarity with GLP/GMP and quality system requirements.
• Proficient in laboratory data management and scientific documentation.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work 100% On-site in Gurabo and Available to work 1st shift and 2nd, 3rd or weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biological and microbiological testing, including environmental monitoring, bioburden, endotoxin, growth promotion, and biological indicator studies.
• Perform biomarker identification and development using established and innovative laboratory techniques.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with GLP/GMP standards.
• Analyze, interpret, and summarize experimental data; prepare and present scientific findings to internal teams.
• Prepare standards, reagents, and controls according to established protocols.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical and laboratory instruments.
• Perform literature reviews, statistical analyses, and utilize software for data interpretation and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, and regulatory procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory best practices.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.
