About The Position

Scientific Solutions Partner Life Sciences | Professional Services | Remote (North America) Driving Growth at the Intersection of Science, Data, and Innovation Rancho BioSciences is seeking a Scientific Solutions Partner to drive net-new revenue growth across pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, and research organizations. This role is ideal for a motivated, quota-carrying sales professional who thrives in complex, consultative sales environments and enjoys opening doors, building pipelines, and closing high-value professional services engagements. This is a fully remote position (North America) with significant travel (up to 50%) to support client meetings, conferences, and business development activities. The Role As a Scientific Solutions Partner, you will own the full sales lifecycle within your territory-from prospecting and opportunity development through solution design, negotiation, and close. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating scientific and technical challenges into tailored, service-based solutions powered by Rancho's domain expertise. This is not an order-taking role. Success requires a hunter mindset, comfort carrying a $MM quota, and the ability to build pipeline in a consultative, service-driven sales model.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) or higher in a scientific or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of successful sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences services
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience selling professional services and managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)

  • Familiarity with bioinformatics, data analytics, or data-driven solutions
  • Exposure to pharmaceutical R&D, clinical research, or academic research environments

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within the life sciences sector
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to drive sustained revenue growth
  • Lead complex, consultative sales cycles involving scientific, technical, and business stakeholders
  • Partner with internal teams to design and position customized service solutions
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships to maximize long-term value
  • Accurately track pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance in CRM systems
  • Represent Rancho BioSciences at client sites, industry conferences, and trade shows
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving client needs
