AMA is seeking a Scientific Photographer III to provide photo/video support for JSC Imagery Acquisition Group in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency’s enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA’s message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA’s communication to the outside world. This position is for a Scientific Photographer tasked with capturing still photography and video of a variety of flight hardware, engineering tests, personnel, and other subjects and events of importance to NASA’s human space flight effort. Provide professional imagery acquisition through the utilization of multiple camera systems, primarily Nikon Z9 and D6, Hasselblad H and X systems, Canon XF705, and GoPro’s. Operate camera system for aerial drone vehicle. Additional duties include working with Speedotron Black Line lighting systems, Profoto, Nikon Speedlights, Nila LED lights, Lite Panel LED lights, Nanlites and various lighting accessories. Salary range: $62,026-$71,330
