About The Position

Bonafide is looking for a highly dynamic individual to help support the Scientific Affairs and Product Development teams in the research and development of both marketed and pipeline products. As a Scientific Affairs Associate, you will report to the Manager, Scientific Affairs and evaluate research studies to provide information needed to make decisions about future product formulations and clinical study designs. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the timelines and project management of the various Research and Development programs that are critical to the success of the company. With newly launched products and additional pipeline products coming to fruition, expect an extremely dynamic environment. We are looking for a self-driven individual who can stay on top of projects, assuring that those involved are up to date on the timing and critical next steps. By interacting with key members of multiple departments, the Scientific Affairs Associate will learn the core foundations for a successful career and have opportunities to expand their role and grow into a number of areas within the Bonafide business.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in science, nutrition, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in clinical research.
  • Must have experience working with live patients
  • Highly energetic team-player with proficient project management skills who is able to stay on top of multiple projects across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong interest in research in nutrition and healthcare.
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and ability to communicate in small and large settings.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and be able to foresee problems and proactively mitigate them before they happen.
  • Strong, hard-working, achiever with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Ability to effectively work independently.
  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, clinicians, and regulatory personnel.
  • Extremely reliable and capable of being highly productive in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the research required to design and run clinical studies.
  • Help manage the timely conduct and completion of the department’s research programs.
  • Assist in the research required to develop new product formulations.
  • Collaborate on the strategic development of the products in our pipeline.
  • Research data underpinning new product acquisition opportunities to evaluate business viability.
  • Review research data and market research feedback to help create compelling claims and responsible marketing messages for the healthcare practitioner audience.
  • Assist on the development of clinical study operating procedures.
  • Assist in the delivery and supply chain logistics for clinical trial materials in collaboration with others.
  • Collaborate with our Management team across multiple disciplines to execute strategic plans.
  • Work across functions in a dynamic work environment while enjoying the stability of established revenue streams and opportunity to learn from seasoned executives.
  • Willing to travel occasionally to medical and industry conferences.
