About The Position
POSITION: Certified Science Tutor LOCATION: Oak Forest High School JOB GOAL: To promote scientific literacy by assisting students in the development and application of scientific skills, knowledge and principles. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Tutors secondary pupils in science, utilizing the course of study adopted by the Board of Education and appropriate curriculum publications as guidelines in addressing individual course content.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Science or a related subject area.
- A valid Illinois Certificate Type 90 preferred.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
