About The Position

The Science Teacher position at Gadsden High School is designed to create a flexible instructional program and a conducive learning environment for students. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • Valid New Mexico Teaching license.
  • TESOL Endorsement (with exceptions for certain licensed teachers).

  • Establishes communication with students and parents regarding academic and behavioral progress.
  • Utilizes teaching techniques to accommodate various learning styles.
  • Tests students, records grades, and sends progress reports to parents.
  • Collaborates with principal, counselor, and staff to address student issues.
  • Supervises students, instructional assistants, and volunteers as assigned.
