About The Position

Assists researchers and scientists by performing routine laboratory tasks, experiments, and maintenance. Must exemplify the University Honor Code, including the dress and grooming principles and expectations.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work 10 to 19 hours in the weekday mornings and between classes - submit your winter semester schedule with application to verify.
  • Students may only have 5 open job applications at a time.

  • Priority will be given to students with leadership/lead worker experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares lab equipment, supplies, and proper setup for testing and experiments.
  • Prepares and arranges slides, solutions, media, buffers, plates, and specimens for laboratory testing, following procedures and ensuring proper handling.
  • Maintains databases on results of experiments.
  • Perform statistical analyses of data, using computer software.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
