Science Instructional Tutor
About The Position
In-person bilingual (Spanish) tutors will work with students in grades 9–12, providing support in Biology and preparation for the Science Regents exam. Tutors will assist through both in-class (push-in) support and small-group pull-out instruction, helping students strengthen their understanding of key scientific concepts. The program runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. As a Bilingual Education Champion, you’ll provide small-group and one-on-one tutoring in Math, Reading & Writing, Science, and other core subjects during school hours. Work alongside teachers and school staff to support classroom instruction, reinforce learning, and help multilingual students succeed.
