Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Environmental Management or similar field
  • Must have completed 3 years of study in the applicable program
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this role

  • Strong academic background with a focus on environmental science and/or policy
  • Team player that demonstrates professionalism and accountability
  • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Experience in word-processing and integrated software applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide research and technical writing to support development of environmental documents
  • Set parameters for and develop baseline data for natural, cultural, and socioeconomic resources
  • Interpret and apply environmental statutes, regulations and Executive Orders for compliance with relevant local, state, and federal laws
  • Assist with preparation, facilitation, and documentation of NEPA studies and reports
