About The Position
The SCIB US Head of Sanctions - Compliance position is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and oversight of the sanctions compliance program across U.S. CIB operations in alignment with the Global Sanctions program. This role involves developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with U.S. sanctions laws, including OFAC regulations and other relevant local and international sanctions. The individual will provide expert guidance on the interpretation of sanctions regulations and assess their impact on the company's operations and business activities. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with legal, risk, and business teams to identify and mitigate potential sanctions risks associated with transactions, customers, partners, and third-party relationships.
