About The Position
We are seeking a responsible and safety-focused School Van Driver to transport students to and from school and related activities. The ideal candidate must prioritize student safety, maintain a professional attitude, and ensure timely transportation.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement ( 23years old)
- Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required depending on vehicle type and state regulations)
- Clean driving record
- Background check clearance
- Drug screening clearance
- Ability to pass physical examination
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong safety awareness
- Good communication skills
- Patience and ability to work with children
- Dependable and responsible
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school, home, and approved locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure students follow safety rules while on the vehicle
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained van
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and management
- Comply with all state and federal transportation regulations
