About The Position
We are looking for a talented School to Work – Test Engineer student to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Troy, MI. Overview: As a Test Engineering Team member, the School-to-Work will be responsible for assisting in the setup, running, and inspection of vehicle and mechanical lab based tests.
Responsibilities
- Assist Test Technicians and Engineers with the setup and running of vehicle and mechanical lab based tests.
- Documentation of test setup and results.
- Instrumentation and test part logistics.
- Asset management and quality compliance (calibrations and documentation).
- Test data analysis for defined processes.
- Lab area cleanliness and safety.
