About The Position

Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a flexible, part-time school-based position in Wadesboro, North Carolina? Join Ampersand Therapy – A Woman- and Therapist-Led Company! Ampersand Therapy is seeking a compassionate SLP for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year to serve students in a fantastic school district. We're currently interviewing qualified candidates! School SLP Position in Wadesboro, NC – Job Details: In-person, part-time role (approximately 16 hours per week) Elementary school caseload of around 20 students (not all students receive weekly services) Collaborate with the school’s Special Education team and teachers Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support Focus on facilitating communication skills and language development

Requirements

North Carolina Board of Examiners License for Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility and willingness to obtain quickly)
North Carolina Teaching License for Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility and willingness to obtain promptly)
Experience working with pediatrics

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the school’s Special Education team and teachers
Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support
Focus on facilitating communication skills and language development
