About The Position
Heartland AEA has full-time School Social Worker positions available for the 2025-26 school year, office location and assignments are to be determined. This position will have a 192-day contract and will provide services for the identification, evaluation and educational programming of children. Candidates should be able to provide services that assist parents and professionals in meeting the educational and social/emotional/behavioral and mental health needs of children and youth. The position will include Child Find responsibilities within a RtI model.
Requirements
- Excellent teamwork, collaboration, communication and organizational skills
- Appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (or have the ability to obtain a license)
- Possess a master's degree in social work at the minimum
