This role focuses on addressing the emotional, social, and academic needs of students and collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare providers to promote positive outcomes. Requirements

  • Master's Degree Social Work required
  • Social Worker [Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker - LICSW - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
  • Experience in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field 2-3 years required
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and effective intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
  • Compassionate and empathetic, with a strong commitment to supporting student well-being.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive situations with professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in educational institutions or a similar setting 0-1 year preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ emotional, social, and academic needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students facing challenges.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with mental health issues, trauma, or behavioral concerns.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to promote resilience and coping skills.
  • Respond to crises involving students, providing immediate support and coordination with emergency services as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and well-being during crises.
