About The Position

School Social Worker – 2025–2026 School Year – In‑Person Ampersand Therapy is hiring dedicated School Social Workers for the 2025–2026 school year. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities, exclusively in-person. Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Valid Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with Social Work endorsement
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in school settings or with special education is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong asset, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect support services to students
• Participate in IEP development and fulfill service minutes
• Attend and contribute to IEP and staff meetings
• Collaborate with special education and general education teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
