About The Position
Adelphi is seeking a qualified, licensed School Social Worker to provide contracted, in-person social work services for a public school district in Ruidoso, New Mexico. The School Social Worker will support students with social-emotional and behavioral needs by conducting evaluations, providing direct services, participating in IEP development, and collaborating with district special education staff in accordance with New Mexico licensure requirements and district policies.
Requirements
- Current and valid New Mexico Social Work license
- Experience providing school-based social work services
- Resume reflecting relevant school-based experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct social work services as specified in students’ IEPs
- Conduct educational and social-emotional evaluations
- Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports with recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with staff and families to address behavioral and emotional needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and service logs
- Provide consultation and training as requested
- Adhere to ethical standards and district policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
