About The Position

The primary responsibility of the School Based Social Worker is to mobilize family, school and community resources to enable students to learn as effectively as possible through prevention, education outreach, clinical activities, and related services to eligible students. As a key member of the care team or mental health team, the social worker will partner with school administrators, teachers, counselors, families and community partners to develop and implement plans that provide specialized support for selected students throughout the course of the school year. If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree Social Work and 1-2 years experience
  • One of the following: Licensed Master's Social Worker KS, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Specialist KS required upon hire
  • If incumbent is clinically licensed, no Master’s level license is required
