About The Position

Seeking School Social Worker, LCSW Full-time, throughout the school year, Paid summers off Compensation starting at $55,000 - $60,000/yr depending on relevant experience School Based Mental Health team is looking for a School Social Worker to provide social work and counseling services to our contracts This role is responsible for delivery of individual and group counseling. Responsible for advocating, coordinating and providing resources for emotional, mental and physical needs of students in assigned district. Demonstrates the ability to work in collaboration with district personnel to provide social work services to identified populations. Demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and ability to understand, implement, as well as impact regulatory guidelines and professional standards. Provides prevention, case management and consultation services to individuals in schools. All services are family focused and are provided in the office, schools, home or other community settings. This is done in accordance with the Agency’s Vision, Mission and Values. Our School-Based Clinicians respond to the mental health needs of students within a school district, as identified by district personnel. #sponsored Qualifications Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle for work travel Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related Human Services discipline LCSW or LSW Minimum of two years verified paid experience providing mental health treatment required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing. Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques – upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more. Some repetitive wrist/hand movements, normal hearing and vision. Occasional use of computers and office equipment. Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes. Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches (S&PA) techniques. Requirements

  • Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle for work travel
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related Human Services discipline
  • LCSW or LSW
  • Minimum of two years verified paid experience providing mental health treatment required
  • Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches (S&PA) techniques
