About The Position

As the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows approaches its 50th Anniversary of serving our community, we are looking for a School Site Coordinator to oversee daily site operations at our Inskeep Elementary School location, and ensure the delivery of high-quality programs aligning with Club standards and youth development outcomes. This role provides leadership to staff and volunteers, maintains a safe and well-managed environment, serves as a primary contact for families, and represents the Club within the community while ensuring compliance, resource management, and program quality. These are some of the additional things you will do as a School Site Coordinator: Build leadership skills by managing a team, building a positive club culture, and participating in ongoing professional development. Nurture great relationships with members and parents to communicate club benefits, programs, policies, and practices Hone your administrative and managerial skills through training related to grants, finance, and reporting procedures ALL BGCTM employees have the responsibility to help maintain the safety of our members and staff and ensure an optimal Club experience for all. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three years work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs to youth and teens or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with a diverse population, and represent BGCTM professionally to the community
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to produce and provide data/reports in a timely manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Must be able to perform duties which require walking, talking, hearing, standing, sitting, and/or bending for long periods of time
  • Must be able to use hands and arms to enter data into the computer, use the telephone and other office equipment
  • Must be able to perform surface and deep cleaning appropriately using potentially hazardous cleaners including bleach, as needed
  • Must be able to lift, move manipulate and or hold objects up to 45 pounds
  • Provide 3 professional references
  • Complete a drug screen, background check, and fingerprint check
