Requirements

• Valid security license/certification (as required)
• Ability to pass criminal background screening
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
• Professional conduct and confidentiality at all times

Nice To Haves

• Previous school security experience (preferred)
• A strong professional appearance and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Confidence working around students, staff, and parents

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe, visible, and professional presence
• Greeting staff, students, and visitors with a friendly and respectful attitude
• Monitoring entrances/exits and assisting with visitor check-in procedures
• Supporting a calm and welcoming environment through communication and awareness
• Handling concerns professionally and using de-escalation when needed
• Conducting patrols and reporting issues clearly and accurately
• Working closely with school staff to support daily safety operations
