About The Position

Interim HealthCare- Maine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School RN 1:1 to provide one-on-one nursing care for a student with a central line in a school setting in Gray, ME. This role requires a skilled registered nurse who can deliver individualized healthcare, support the student's medical and educational needs, and collaborate with school staff and families to ensure the student’s safety and well-being throughout the school day. Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine.
Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
Experience with Central Lines
Ability to provide direct one-on-one nursing care in a school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Reliable transportation and punctuality for the Gray, ME location.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one nursing care to a student within the school environment.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor the student’s health status, document observations, and communicate any changes promptly.
Collaborate with school personnel, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and health issues during the school day.
Maintain accurate health records according to school and agency policies.
Educate the student, school staff, and family members as needed about the student’s health condition and care plan.
