Maintains and upgrades the school’s academic information infrastructures including academic records archives (paper and electronic), on-line student database (Infinite Campus), student’s special education paperwork and timelines (Project Education data system), daily attendance, other electronic databases and information systems for Cedar Springs and Highlands Behavioral Health Hospital programs. Establishes and implements short- and long-range department goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates program effectiveness; effects changes required for improvement. Represents the school to various hospital departments as well as externally to governmental agencies, vendors, students and their parents, and/or the general public. Recommends and participates in the development of school policies and procedures; may serve on hospital planning and policy-making committees. Collaborates with representatives of the Colorado Department of Education, and other national, state, and local organizations on the development and implementation of new requirements and practices from the guidance of the Director of Special Education.. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
