About the position
The School Psychologist position at Therapeutic Services involves working collaboratively with educational teams to support students' mental health and educational needs. This role integrates with school districts both on-site and via telehealth, ensuring comprehensive support for students and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to support students' mental health.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive educational environments.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for students.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Requirements
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in educational settings is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with telehealth services.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with various psychological assessment tools.
