The School Psychologist will be responsible for providing consultation and collaboration with administrators, teachers, parents, and community professional agencies. The role includes conducting psycho-educational assessments and being actively involved in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes, developing interventions, and supporting student needs such as social skills and counseling behavior. The psychologist will also conduct Child Find screenings, work with educational staff for special education students, and engage in data-based decision making and accountability. Additionally, the position involves home/school/community collaboration through multidisciplinary teams, prevention, crisis intervention, and serving as a mental health child advocate while adhering to district, state, and federal policies. This position is for the 2024/2025 school year and requires 187 days of employment.
