About the position

The School Psychologist provides a full range of psychological services for children ages 0–21, including assessment, intervention planning, and consultation. This role supports both CCIU-operated programs and local school districts, ensuring that services are evidence-based, culturally responsive, and aligned with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological evaluations using formal and informal measures
  • Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments
  • Write integrated bilingual psychoeducational reports with actionable recommendations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams (e.g., IEP, MTSS, FBA, Manifestation Determination)
  • Support eligibility determinations and special education planning
  • Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning and mental health
  • Collaborate on the development and monitoring of individualized intervention plans
  • Maintain secure and up-to-date evaluation materials and protocols
  • Deliver training on topics such as trauma-informed practices, culturally responsive assessments, and behavioral supports
  • Maintain accurate records and meet all timelines for documentation

Requirements

  • PDE Educational Specialist Certification – School Psychologist PK–12
  • Master’s degree in school psychology or related field
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) required
  • Clearance as a Medical Assistance (MA) provider (completed by CCIU)
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
  • TB Screening (current within 3 months)
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
  • Valid PDE certification
  • Professional Liability Insurance
