About The Position
Responsible for but not limited to the following: Serve as a member of the elementary school Child Study Team Develop IEPs and conduct IEP meetings Acts as a liaison between parents, students, staff and outside agencies Provide clinical services to at risk students Conduct individual counseling sessions Facilitate group counseling sessions Facilitation of service linkage to community services for families Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and outside clinical service providers Trained in crisis response and de-escalation Facilitation of staff trainings on mental health and the impact of trauma Performs all case managerial and therapeutic duties in accordance with State rules and regulations.
Requirements
- Appropriate NJDOE Certification- Endorsement #3100
