About The Position

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychoeducational support in a public school setting. This is a school-based contract opportunity offering flexible local or travel assignments. The role involves being a crucial part of a multidisciplinary team helping students thrive both academically and emotionally. Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field (Required)
  • State Certification as a School Psychologist (e.g., FL SEA Certification for Grades PreK–12) – Temporary or Professional (Required)
  • Experience with school-based psychoeducational evaluations and IEP teams
  • Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and reporting

Nice To Haves

  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential (Preferred)
  • Experience as a School Psychologist (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments (intellectual, academic, behavioral, emotional, and functional)
  • Interpret results and assist in determining eligibility for special education services
  • Develop recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Lead Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Provide consultation and case management for students and staff
  • Participate in manifestation determination meetings and crisis response when needed
  • Collaborate with school teams, families, and other professionals
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws related to students with disabilities
  • Serve as a valued member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team
