About The Position

As the School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating school health services. Your objective will be to maximize in-class time by reducing health-related absenteeism, minimize learning-impairing health problems, and foster the highest level of independent functioning possible.

Requirements

• Applicants must have a Master’s degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology and hold a valid school psychology license in the state of Georgia.
• Applicants must either possess or be eligible to obtain a School Psychology endorsement through the Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observations of students in classrooms and various school settings to gain valuable insights.
• Provide compassionate counseling, instruction, and mentoring to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Promote wellness and resilience by reinforcing communication skills, social skills, problem-solving abilities, anger management, self-regulation, self-determination, and optimism.
