About The Position

East Cooper Montessori Charter School (ECMCS) is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to join our close-knit Montessori community in a role designed for meaningful impact and sustainable work-life balance. Unlike many school psychology positions, this role offers the opportunity to serve one small school community-with no splitting time between campuses and very few obligations outside the school day. Requirements

  • Valid South Carolina certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Strong collaboration, data analysis, and case management skills
  • Passion for whole-child education and relationship-based student support

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MTSS/RTI leadership preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility determinations
  • Lead and support the school's MTSS/RTI framework
  • Partner with teachers and families to develop intervention and support plans
  • Analyze student data to guide academic and behavioral decisions
  • Participate in IEP/504/eligibility meetings
  • Consult with faculty regarding student supports and accommodations
  • Help ensure coordinated, responsive care for students over time
