About The Position

This position will be a 1.0 FTE split between the Norton and Easton Public Schools. This position is a shared role between the Norton Public Schools and the Easton Public Schools. The schedule will follow a rotating 3/2 split: one week, the employee will be assigned to Norton for three full days and Easton for two full days, and the following week the schedule will rotate (three full days in Easton and two full days in Norton). Both districts are open for discussion regarding this schedule. The school psychologist will provide diagnostic and consultative services, including psychometric assessment in cognitive and achievement areas as well as guidance in other assessment areas as part of the process of special education screening and evaluations, in collaboration with building-based teams, while adhering to laws and regulations established by IDEA 2004. Compensation will be determined based on the salary scale grid on page 32 of the NTA current collective bargaining agreement, subject to change based on the outcome of ongoing negotiations. Requirements

  • Hold Massachusetts School Psychologist License
  • A Master's Degree or higher in School Psychology, or related field
  • Experience in a public school environment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities below as evidenced by course work, educational experience, school-level involvement and/or system-wide professional activities, and the interview process
