About The Position

The School Psychologist will be responsible for providing psychological DIS counseling to students based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). This role involves developing and consulting on IEPs and 504 plans using assessment data, and creating evidence-based interventions. The psychologist will also offer crisis support during emergencies and provide training to school staff on mental health, behavior management, and instructional strategies. Maintaining accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress, as well as preparing detailed reports for meetings and evaluations, are also key aspects of the position. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in meetings to review and plan student interventions is essential.

Requirements

  • Department of Education School Psychologist Certification in the state where services are delivered
  • Department of Justice/FBI Background Check (or equivalent state or national fingerprint clearance).
  • TB Clearance
  • Eligibility to work in the US

Nice To Haves

  • Certification from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)
  • Prior experience working as a school psychologist
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
