About The Position

The Los Angeles Unified School District , one of the Largest School Districts in the U.S., is seeking Certified and Credentialed Candidates for Full-Time Bilingual School Psychologist positions for the 2016 - 2017 School Year. As a School Psychologist Certified Staff Member you will be responsible for: Providing psychological services to general education students and students with disabilities Conducts psycho-educational assessments to assist in determining eligibility for special education services and the development of educational programs Consulting with school personnel, parents and others concerned with the progress of students Providing individual and group counseling sessions. When qualified, provides such services in the student's primary language or to deaf children using communication skills for the deaf when appropriate. Nice To Haves

  • Successful experience as a school psychologist, school counselor, or teacher in a public school setting
  • Successful full-time public school service in a certified position(s) in programs and/or services involving exceptional students
  • PPS Credential in School Psychology
  • Knowledge and experience establishing and implementing a school wide RtI/SST Model
  • BCBA
