About The Position
Charleston County School District (CCSD) leadership will host an exclusive, invitation-only recruitment event the evening of January 29 designed for dedicated and innovative educators aspiring to assume principal roles within the district in the next academic year. The targeted event aims to identify and engage potential candidates who possess the experience, vision, and drive required to lead Charleston County schools. Prospective principals will have the opportunity to meet with current district leadership, discuss the specific challenges and rewards of administration within CCSD, share data that demonstrates past successes, and learn more about the application and vetting process. Requirements
- Masters
- minimum of three years teaching experience
- two years experience as an Assistant Principal, or an equivalent administrative position
- SC (or equivalent) Certification in appropriate school level administration
