About The Position

Ampersand Therapy, a therapist-founded and therapist-run company, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) for a full-time school-based position in Seattle, Washington, for the 2026-2027 school year. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide direct therapy services to students in a collaborative and supportive educational environment. The company is looking for a licensed School Physical Therapist eager to work in the public school setting, helping students access their education through mobility and motor-based interventions. This position is ideal for a PT passionate about pediatric therapy, special education, and making a meaningful difference in students’ lives, serving a caseload from PreK to age 22.

Requirements

• Valid Washington State Physical Therapist License (required)
• ESA certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong interest in pediatric physical therapy, special education, and school systems
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Nice To Haves

• School-based PT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students with IEPs
• Complete physical therapy evaluations and document findings
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
• Ensure compliance with state and district guidelines for therapy services
