About The Position

In this school-based role, you’ll support students across multiple schools within one district in the Alabama school system, collaborating with educators and staff to promote student mobility and success. This part-time position offers 16–24 hours per week and follows the school-year calendar (10-month schedule), providing built-in breaks and work-life balance. Requirements

  • Physical Therapist Licensure in good standing in both Georgia and Alabama
  • CPR and first aid certification required

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation and education for teachers and staff to enhance fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, attention, and executive functioning skills in students.
  • Conduct evaluations, identify areas of concern, and collaborate with IEP teams to support student academic success.
  • Plan and implement effective treatment programs focused on sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with state regulations and district standards for accuracy and timeliness.
