About The Position

Join our team as a School Officer- Assisting Student Learning at Southern Cross Catholic College, Annandale. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Officer - Assisting Student Learning to work in a Fixed Term , Term Time capacity completing 26 hours 40 minutes per week Monday to Friday. The position commences as soon as practicable and will conclude on 4 December 2026. In this role, you’ll nurture curiosity and a love of learning by providing hands-on support in the classroom, assisting students with their individual learning goals, and helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. With patience, empathy, and understanding, you’ll build strong connections with students - supporting their confidence and wellbeing as they learn and grow. You’ll work closely with teachers to monitor progress, celebrate achievements, and provide meaningful feedback that encourages each learner to thrive. Guided by Catholic values, you’ll embrace the school’s mission, prioritise student safety and wellbeing, and help create a welcoming, supportive environment where every learner feels they belong.
