About The Position

Temporary Lecturer provides a quality learning experience for students. Performs instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the college. The relationship of the Lecturer faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning. Teaching and departmental responsibilities expected. This is a non-tenure track, temporary position. Desire to work with traditional and fast-track students is essential.

Requirements

• An earned master's degree awarded by a regionally accredited or internationally recognized institution in the field specified in the position announcement.
• Current Oklahoma RN License.
• CPR certification.
• Current vaccination status and tuberculosis testing required.
• Drug screen will be required before starting clinical duties.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in teaching and evaluating students in the Clinical, Laboratory, Simulation areas.

Responsibilities

• Teaching day/evening/weekend classes in Clinical, Laboratory, Simulation, and/or Classroom areas.
• Willingness to teach courses in a variety of delivery formats (face-to-face, hybrid, online) as needed.
• Occasional participation in department meetings, committees and projects.
