About The Position
The School of Education at Seattle Pacific University offers one of the premier teacher preparation programs in the region. Our students are equipped to make a positive impact on student learning while bringing hope to families and diverse communities. As a result, our graduates are among the most sought-after educators in the field. The School of Education offers a wide variety of courses, both in-person and online, that are part of the following programs: Undergraduate: Teacher Certification in many endorsement areas (Elementary, Secondary, Special Education, and Early Childhood Education). Graduate: Master of Arts in Teaching with Teacher Certification (Elementary, Secondary, Special Education), Master of Arts in Teaching Math and Science, Master of Education in Educational Leadership, Master of Education in School Counseling, Master of Education in Language, Literacy, and Culture, Master of Education in Digital Education Leadership, Master of Education in Teaching, Learning, and Leadership, School Principal, Superintendent, Program Administrator Certification, Executive Leadership, Doctoral Degree Programs (Ph.D. and Ed.D.). We are accepting applications for adjunct faculty for courses including but not limited to: Elementary and Secondary teaching methods, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Education, Classroom Management, Special Education, Educational Leadership (from teacher leaders to principals and superintendents), Curriculum Design, Planning Instruction and Assessment, Instructional Strategies, School Counseling, Digital Education, English Language Learners.
