About The Position

The Visual Arts department offers a wide variety of studio and lecture courses. The student assistant will assist the Art Instructors with various administrative and organizational skills. The candidate will perform most/all job duties in the Art Studios housed in Wilson Commerce and Norton Hall. Hours may vary depending on the job requirements; however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hours. This position requires up to 8 hours per week.

Requirements

• Student needs knowledge of art and graphic design courses and materials
• Organizational skills
• Knowledge of copiers
• Reliability

Nice To Haves

• Must have a minimum of 3.4 overall GPA
• Knowledge of art supplies
• Familiarity with Excel

Responsibilities

• Unpack and check in art supplies
• Enter data to spreadsheets
• Run errands
• Other duties as assigned
