About The Position
School Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time or Part-Time | Lakewood, WA | 2025–2026 School Year Ampersand Therapy, a women- and therapist-founded company, is hiring a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for an in-person, school-based OT position in Lakewood, Washington for the rest of the 2025–2026 school year! Whether you're a seasoned school OT or a new graduate eager to support students, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements
- Valid Washington Occupational Therapist license (or willingness to obtain)
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially working with COTAs and participating in IEP teams
Responsibilities
- Direct occupational therapy services for school-aged students
- School-based evaluations, treatments, and IEP development
- Participation in IEP meetings with families and special education teams
- Documentation and progress reporting
- Collaboration with teachers, staff, and district leadership
