About The Position

Join our mission to help young children grow, learn, and thrive! We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Preschool Special Education team, supporting children ages 3–5 as they develop vital fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills for school readiness and independence. As part of a caring, multidisciplinary team, you’ll use creative, play-based therapy to help each child build confidence and success in the classroom and beyond.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid NYS license and NBCOT certification
Strong knowledge of sensory integration and play-based interventions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with preschool or pediatric populations preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations to assess fine motor, sensory-motor, and self-care skills.
Develop and implement individual and group therapy sessions aligned with IEP goals.
Incorporate sensory integration and adaptive strategies to promote participation and self-regulation.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to integrate therapy techniques into daily routines.
Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and ensure compliance with program standards.
