About The Position

To assist in the daily operation of the cafeteria to insure a smooth program.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to obtain food handlers card.
• Ability to lift medium to heavy weights, bend, stoop, reach and climb.
• Shall have ability to work effectively and professionally with school personnel and students.

Responsibilities

• Works where needed on preparation of food and clean up.
• Works on the serving line, table washing, cashiering, taking out trash, pots and pans, clean up of equipment and snack bar.
• Other general duties assigned by the School Nutrition Manager necessary in preparation or clean up.
• Understands and practices USDA accountability and general safety standards.
• Performs other related duties as required by supervisor.
