The School Nutrition Supervisor ensures the efficient operation of the school cafeteria, supervises staff, orders foods and supplies, oversees food planning, preparation, and service, and supervises point-of-sale terminal operation and financial reporting. This role may also involve providing food services for one or more satellite sites and/or operating a cluster school/schools or a high-volume location, ensuring compliance with all applicable District and Board policies and procedures and State, Federal regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of experience in institutional food service
• Experience in food service supervision
• Must obtain ServSafe certification or Completion of the Tennessee Department of Education - Food Safety and Schools Certificate Program) within one year

Responsibilities
