Through direct care, health planning, and wellness education, School Nurses support students’ physical, emotional, and developmental needs in a school-based setting. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Registered nurse with valid Iowa Licensure
  • Current CPR certification
  • Obtain Statement of Professional Recognition (SPR) through Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (BOEE)
