About The Position

Requirements

• Current CNA or RN license.
• Current or willing to obtain CPR/AED Training and Mandated Reporter Training.
• Strong understanding of child development and positive classroom management techniques.
• Quality communication and collaboration skills.
• Physically capable to work with children and lift materials.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in classroom management.
• Basic life support certification.
• Classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training staff on medical needs such as Epinephrine Pens, Rescue Inhalers, and G-Tubes.
• Maintain student health records and review/write medical policies and procedures.
• Deliver and log any/all student medications and organize all medication for overnight trips.
• Communicate with families regarding student health and see/treat students who are ill or injured.
• Supervise daily activities for the indoor and outdoor environments and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
• Assist throughout the day with student medical needs and communicate daily with the Heads of School.
