About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a 1:1 School Nurse for the 2025–2026 school year in Issaquah, Washington . This position is part time, up to 25 hours per week, and requires trach/vent experience. Job Highlights: Location: Issaquah, WA School Nurse (RN or LPN) starting ASAP 1-1 support for male student in elementary with Wheelchair, no movement in any extremities, nonverbal, trach, vent, J and G tube dependent - up to 25 hours per week depending on student's attendance. Schedule will fluctuate from week to week based on student's health. Trach, vent, g tube experience is required for this position. Setting: School Setting Start Date: ASAP for the 25-26 school year In-person only

Requirements

• Valid Washington State RN license or LPN license through DOH - Compact Licenses are also acceptable
• G tube, trach, vent, J tube experience required.
• Pediatric experience
• Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatrics is highly preferred.
