We are looking for an LPN or RN to ride the bus home from school, Monday through Friday 1:30pm-3:45pm (paid for 4 hrs), with a group of medically fragile students.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN or RN in Michigan
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
• One year of pediatric experience is required
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, assess and provide nursing care according to the policies and procedures of the school
• Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Provide basic first aid care.
• Complete patient documentation.
• Care for students with asthma and watch for seizures.
