About The Position
JOIN OUR TEAM! The Sierra Vista Unified School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Nurse to provide assessment, screening, planning, intervention, evaluation, and/or referrals concerning the health and medical care needs of students. The goal is to minimize absences due to illness, maximize educational opportunities, and create a healthy school climate. The position involves establishing and maintaining a comprehensive school health program, performing nursing assessments, administering medications, conducting health screenings, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure continuity of care for students.
