About The Position
The School Nurse, Itinerant position is designed to support the health needs of students across multiple Calhoun locations for the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves demonstrating leadership in the implementation of the overall school health program, establishing improvement processes, and promoting positive relationships among students, teachers, parents, and the community. The nurse will maintain professional work habits, upgrade skills, assist with screenings, and participate in various health-related meetings. Responsibilities also include developing health care plans for special education students, acting as a liaison between schools and healthcare providers, and providing training in First Aid and CPR.
